Care for the city is part of historical responsibility.
To interpret Edinburgh’s heritage also requires attention to the shared spaces in which that heritage is encountered. This voluntary work is a practical contribution to the streets, parks, and historic settings used by residents and visitors alike.

Throughout July, The Edinburgh Historian volunteered to remove 40 bags of litter from Edinburgh’s streets, parks and historic sites.
